Co-star of NBC’s hit show Whitney, Chris D’Elia was 16 the first time he performed stand-up comedy. He would act up in church, so the pastor told him he could do some time on stage afterwards if he behaved himself. Well, he didn’t behave, but was still allowed to get on stage in front of everyone. Although his church performance was a success, it would be years before D’Elia actually started a career in stand-up comedy. East-Coast-born, West-Coast-raised, Chris found himself in Los Angeles, on stage anywhere he could get up — from local coffee shops to various hole-in-the-wall dive bars. Performing every night of the week, he quickly became a regular at all the clubs in Hollywood. Chris’s silly, physical humor is what sets him apart from other comedians. Chris explains, “I never really feel like just standing there and telling jokes. I wanna move around. In fact, it’s hard for me to write a joke where I don’t end up on the ground for some reason. Hey, at least that way I know no comics will steal my shit. Too many bruises.” His comedy has an emphasis on characters, maybe because of his background in acting. Chris has guest starred on such shows as “Monk” and “Boston Legal,” among others. In 2008 Chris toured the United States with fellow comedian Jo Koy, and in 2009 he opened on the road for Carlos Mencia. You can currently catch Chris’s act on Showtime’s new upcoming series “Live Nude Comedy,” and on the 2009 season of Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham.”
Iliza Shlesinger is the youngest/first female to win NBC’S Last Comic Standing. Her television credits include having her own half hour special on Comedy Central Presents, Comedy Central’s Live At Gotham, Showtime’s Pauly Shore & Friends and Bridging The Gap Comedy Special, E! Iliza hosts her own weekly hit web series The Weakly News with Iliza on thestream.tv. Her stand up comedy resume includes performing at the coveted Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and for our troops in various countries. She can currently be seen headlining at variety of colleges and clubs across the US
