Ahmed Ahmed was born in Helwan, Egypt on June 27th, 1970. His parents immigrated to the U.S. when he was one month old and he grew up in Riverside, CA. He moved to Hollywood when he was 19 years old to pursue a career as an actor and stand-up comedian. He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Mr. Ahmed can be seen in such films and television shows as Iron Man, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan, Vince Vaughns Wild West Comedy Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour, Swingers, Tracey Takes On, Roseanne, JAG, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn on Comedy Central, and MTV’s PUNK’D.
He has also appeared on CNN, The View, and NPR, and was featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal in December of 2001. Recently, he can be seen in the film City of Life, the first feature film to be shot entirely in Dubai, U.A.E., which premiered at the Dubai International Film Festival in 2009. He was the recipient of the first annual Richard Pryor Award for Ethnic Comedy at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in Scotland.
A paid regular performer at the world famous Comedy Store in Hollywood and the Comedy Cellar in New York City, Mr. Ahmed tours all across America, and the globe, with his stand-up comedy. Just Like Us is his directorial debut.

Shawn started his comedy career in the bars and comedy clubs of Texas, then soon moved to LA where is took a job once held by Sam Kinison, the door guy at the World Famous Comedy Store. There he was seen by Pauly Shore who soon after asked Shawn to go on tour with him. This is were Shawn became an instant club favorite. Shawn can be seen regularly in LA at the Improv, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and Jon Lovitz Comedy Club as well as every bar and hole in the wall bar that has comedy. Shawn Halpin is a club favorite around the country and now the world after his recent run on the “Tom Green World Stand Up Comedy Tour”. After the 15 sold out shows in Australia, Shawn was asked to return as one of just a handful of American Comedians to preform in the 2011 Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals. You see Shawn once and you will think, where has this guy been?
Beating out thousands for the enviable spot as part of the Final Five on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing 2 ,” catapulted Tammy’s career and won her a slew of new fans, solidifying her as one of the sharpest women in the comedy world. Tammy has appeared twice as a guest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” and “Dennis Miller” and has been a featured comic on PAX’s “Balderdash” National Lampoon’s “Funny Money”, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing: The Best of the Best” and Comedy Central’s “The World Stands Up!” Tammy also recently appeared in her own half-hour special for Comedy Central, “Comedy Central Presents: Tammy Pescatelli”. She has also performed on the “Jerry Lewis Telethon” several times. More recently, she has performed on “TBS’s Evening at the Laugh Factory,” “Last Call with Carson Daly,” and has been a guest a number of times on the syndicated show “Comics Unleashed”, and chosen for their “Best of the Best” world wide top selling DVD!
