Shlesinger, Dunnigan, Cease Friday at MBar Hollywood

We don’t get the opportunity to offer shows at MBar too often.  Tomorrow night (Friday March 25th) we have 2!  At 7:45 we have Last Comic Standing winner Iliza Shlesinger!  At 9:45 we have Kyle Dunnigan from Reno 911 and Kyle Cease from Comedy Central!  If that wasn’t enough, they have The Greg Wilson hosting both shows!!!  This venue will hold 100 people so they have only alloted us 25 tickets for each show.  Please only RSVP if you can attend.  We appreciate it.  To get on the guest list and save the $10 admission price, go to and click RSVP at the top of the site!  MBar is located on the corner of Fountain and Vine at 1253 N. Iliza currently lives in Los Angeles and is the most recent winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing Season 6. She is the first female and youngest comedian to hold the title of Last Comic Standing. Her television credits include having her own half hour special on Comedy Central Presents, Comedy Central’s Live At Gotham, Showtime’s Pauly Shore & Friends and Bridging The Gap Comedy Special, E! Network’s Chelsea Lately, E!’s The Soup and NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly.Iliza and currently hosts her own hit web series The Weakly News with Iliza on Her stand up comedy resume includes performing at the coveted Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and for our troops in various countries. Kyle Dunnigan, actor and stand-up comedian, is best known for his recurring role as “Craig,” a.k.a. “The Truckee River Killer,” in the hit Comedy Central series, “Reno 911!” He also appears in the movie, “Reno 911!: Miami.” Kyle was a series regular on NBCÂ’s “Howie Do It” and FoxÂ’s “Cedric The Entertainer Presents.” As a stand-up comedian, Kyle has had his own half-hour special on Comedy Central and has appeared on “Late Night With Conan OÂ’Brien,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson.” He has performed at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. Kyle headlines colleges and comedy clubs across the country and has done a USO tour of Iraq with Drew Carey. He is an alumni of the Groundlings Sunday Company and holds a BFA in theater from the University of Connecticut. Kyle has a significant online presence, including his viral video, “Craig vs. Wild,” which has received over 2 million hits. Kyle Cease is currently one of the most in-demand young comics, selling out over 200 shows last year from coast to coast. His Comedy Central 1 hour special “Kyle Cease: Weirder. Blacker. Dimpler. premiered in 2007 to extremely high ratings. Hís half hour special, “Comedy Central Presents Kyle Cease” was the most played half hour special on Comedy Central in 2006. The same year his CD/DVD “One Dimple”, was one of Comedy Central Records highest debuting releases. Last year he won the 2009 Comedy Central Stand-Up Showdown, competing against the 100 best comics in the business.Since his memorable appearances as the ’slow clapper’ in “Not Another Teen Movie” and as Bogey Lowenstein in “10 Things I Hate About You”, Cease has had numerous TV, film and radio appearances. Kyle began his stand-up career early. By the age of 21 he had toured nationally and won the International Giggles Comedy Competition, placed in the finals of the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition, and completed his first major movie role.
